Hello friends!
If you are new here, welcome to the Clutter to Clarity Newsletter! I try to send out one newsletter per month (though it doesn’t always happen!). One newsletter is filled with organizing tips on a topic of my choosing, and the other is my mailbag issue, in which I answer readers’ questions. Here is what I am chatting about in this month’s newsletter:

Tips for the Holiday Host
Some people love to host holiday meals, and some are completely overwhelmed by it, but are stuck doing it because they live in the most central location or have the best house to host. Whether you love it or are stuck with it, it can be a lot of work. In a recent blog post, I shared some tips on how to stretch out the work over several days to make the day itself a little less stressful.
Tip #1
As you plan out the menu, write out the schedule for the day of the meal to make sure that there is enough time (and oven space) to cook all of the planned dishes…

What Lindsey’s Reading
My book club read this wonderful book by a local author it is a gem! The author has since written a prequel, but I still recommend reading this one first.
What Lindsey’s Listening To
Normally in this section I share a favorite podcast episode, but today will be a little different. This fall has been a LOT. Between everything going on in the world and a busy family schedule, I’ve needed a bit more “quiet” in my rides to and from clients recently. I don’t always want silence, so I turn on the local classical station WQXR (105.9) for a relaxing soundtrack on my drive. I know many of my clients and friends are struggling right now - make sure you listen to what your body needs. Sometimes, we need to turn off all of the words and thoughts coming at us.
What Lindsey’s Cooking
Nothing. LOL. This fall has been so hectic that I didn’t cook too many recipes. My family has seen a lot of marinated meats from Trader Joes, rotisserie chicken, and frozen pizza. And that is okay. It’s always good to adjust your meal plan to what you have the capacity for. If you want to read about my meal planning tips, check out this recent blog.
Now that fall sports are over, I can catch my breath a bit and cook again. Anyone have any recipes to share? Ideally, gluten and dairy free!
What’s Saving my Life Right Now?
Rest. I took this (past) week off to tackle some personal and professional tasks and boy did I need the time off. Mostly to work through a nasty cold rather than get through a lot of my To Do list, but either way, the rest was very welcome after a super hectic September and October.

Next Newsletter: Mailbag! I will answer your decluttering/organizing/life hack questions. To submit a question, you can reply to this email or submit a question through my website here.
To close, a photo of our newest family member, Mr. Mango!

Thanks for reading! See you next time!
