Hello friends! Here is what I am chatting about in this month’s newsletter:

The New Newsletter Is Here!

The move to Beehiiv is complete! 🐝

I am super excited about this move because Beehiiv will store all of my newsletters so readers can always look up a previous issue to find a past tip I’ve shared. I am also going to start sending out a second newsletter each month that will answer readers’ organizing questions. You can start sending in those decluttering and organizing questions now by replying to this email.

Tips for Showing Love For A Special Mom

I’m taking a break from sharing organizing tips this month to share tips about how to spoil a special mother in your life.

We all know that moms carry a heavy load of responsibilities, If you want to show some love to a special mom in your life with a special gift for Mother’s Day, I have two blog posts that can help you find the perfect gift. A gift certificate for organizing is always a great option too!

Favorite Organizing Product of the Month

My favorite bin for cube storage is this 12”x12” clear bin from the Brightroom line at Target. I love that you can see what’s inside and I love that there is room to reach your hand in to put something away without having to pull out the bin - this makes toy cleanup much faster!

What Lindsey’s Reading

Two great books that I’ve read since the last newsletter:

Tom Lake by Ann Patchett: I am not sure I’ll ever love a book of hers more than Bel Canto, but I liked this one enough that I read it in one day.

Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez: The newest book by my favorite romance author. If you like sweeter rather than spicy romances, this one is for you. I’ve read all of her books and this one was probably my favorite so far!

What Lindsey’s Listening To

Wildcard with Rachel Martin: One of my clients recommended this podcast and I am officially obsessed with it. Hear celebrities like Brett Goldstein and LeVar Burton answer questions about their memories, insights, and beliefs.

What Lindsey’s Cooking

With this warmer weather, I love turning to the grill for dinner. Here’s a favorite marinade for London Broil.

What Lindsey’s Up To

My May is full of downsizing clients and high school volleyball games, but I always take the Friday off before Mother’s Day to spend the day all by myself, doing whatever I feel like doing. Some years that’s a massage and pedicure and some years it’s working in the garden. This year I will be cleaning out my gardens, planting my dahlias and annuals, and getting ready for a mulch delivery (120 bags!) coming later in the month.

Thanks for reading! See you next time!
